AlphaPlay founder and A.I. professor Brian Hall is back at SSAC to continue his talks on Artificial Intelligence. This year, Brian will be discussing in detail how professional sports teams are exploiting generative AI’s powerful reasoning capabilities, finding ways to quantify each players’ defense capabilities, exploit weakness in their opponents’ passing networks and even produce insights from off-ball statistics. Brian will walk through NHL, MLS, NFL games, pointing out what humans often miss but what A.I. detects: in-game, pre-match and in practice. It has never been easier for teams to leverage artificial intelligence, painting a future of the "A.I. Haves vs Have Nots."
