We are seeking a passionate, innovative, and driven Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our Major League Soccer (MLS) portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the sports industry, combined with excellent client relationship skills and a strong understanding of market trends. This individual will play a key role in advancing unified ticketing strategies and delivering impactful results for our MLS partners. This role reports direct to the Chief Commercial Officer.
New Business Development-Identify, evaluate, and pursue potential business opportunities within the MLS market.-Create a long-term vision that can be executed over the next 3 years to grow the Eventellect brand within MLS-Research and target new clients, partnerships, and growth areas within MLS.Client Relationship Management-Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with existing MLS clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.-Develop and implement unified ticketing strategies tailored to MLS partners, providing actionable insights and detailed market analysis.Market Analysis and Strategy-Stay informed on industry trends, MLS market dynamics, and the competitive landscape.-Conduct market research to understand customer needs and inform business decisions.Proposal Development and Presentation-Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients, showcasing Eventellect’s value proposition.-Present analysis and recommendations to internal executives and stakeholders.Collaboration and Teamwork-Partner with cross-functional teams, including Data Science, Product, and Client Services, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions to MLS clients.Reporting and Analytics-Monitor and analyze performance metrics, providing data-driven insights to guide strategies and assess business development efforts.
