Co-Founder and COO, Second Spectrum
Yu-Han is COO and Co-Founder of Second Spectrum. He spent the last 15 years making machines smarter, for the past seven years as a professor at USC. He co-founded and co-directed the Computational Behavior Group at USC's Information Sciences Institute, where he led multi-million dollar projects to develop spatiotemporal pattern recognition techniques for data ranging from vehicle tracking to social media to mobile games. These days he applies these techniques to help machines make sense of the most detailed motion data in the world. He holds AB and SM degrees in Economics, Mathematics, and Computer Science from Harvard, and a Ph. D. in Computer Science from MIT.
