Alexander Levy is Chief Scientist at Silicon Valley Bank, where he leads tracking, forecasting, and use of artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies across the bank’s lines of business. Levy previously co-founded and advised various startups and teams exploring machine learning in robotics, natural language processing, drug discovery, blood testing, 3D printing, and Parkinson’s disease. Prior to business, Levy was a researcher in the Computer Science Department at the University of Toronto. Proudly born and raised in Toronto, Levy fondly recalls the Blue Jays’ back-to-back ’92, ’93 World Series titles, and now lives in San Francisco.
