General Manager of Stanford Football
Andrew Luck is currently the General Manager of Stanford Football, a newly designed and innovative role in which he oversees all aspects of the football program. In this capacity, Luck is responsible for player development, recruitment, personnel decisions, and strategic planning. His role integrates both football operations and broader organizational initiatives, bridging the gap between coaching, administrative leadership, and long-term program growth. This comprehensive approach reflects Luck’s vision for the program’s future and his unique perspective on Stanford Football.
Before transitioning into this role, Luck had a successful NFL career with the Indianapolis Colts. Selected first overall in the 2012 NFL Draft, he started 86 games over seven seasons, compiling a 53-33 record as a starter. He earned four Pro Bowl selections and led the Colts to multiple playoff appearances before retiring in 2019.
Luck played college football at Stanford, where he starred as a quarterback for three seasons and graduated in 2012. A finalist for the Heisman Trophy in 2010 and 2011, he led the Cardinal to a 31-7 record and an Orange Bowl victory. After his NFL career, Luck returned to Stanford to pursue a master’s degree in education, which he completed in 2023.
Andrew resides in Palo Alto with his wife, Nicole, a former Stanford gymnast, and their two daughters.
