VP, Chief Information and Technology Officer, NASCAR Andy Schwalb is Vice President, Chief Information and Technology Officer for NASCAR and NASCAR Media Group at the company's headquarters in Daytona Beach, Florida. He oversees the entire technology function, carrying out strategic technological initiatives encompassing the business, media and competition aspects of the sport. Prior to joining NASCAR, Andy served as the senior vice president, chief technology officer for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, a position he held for 13 years. While at Disney, he spearheaded a number of technological projects aimed at enhanced guest experiences and overall growth at all company theme parks, both domestically and internationally. Andy also spent three years at Lockheed Martin Advanced Technology labs, where he developed new concepts for software development methodology and project management. He was also the lead technical architect on redesigning the Lockheed Martin automated manufacturing processes and systems. Andy received his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Technology degree from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Science, Management of Technology degree from the University of Miami. He resides in Mt. Dora with his wife Diane and their three sons, Pierce, Neil and Evan.
