Dan Singer joined McKinsey in 1989 and is a Director in McKinsey's Media and Entertainment practice. He leads McKinsey's Global Sports Practice, serving leading sports organizations around the world, as well as their business partners, such as broadcasters, sponsors, and digital media partners. Dan's sports expertise spans growth strategy-including international expansion, innovation, pricing, sponsorship sales, digital distribution-league governance, and operations effectiveness. He is also an expert on online gaming, including online licensed gambling markets and sports- and casino-based social games. Dan also leads McKinsey's Digital Marketing and Sales practice in North America. In June 2010, Dan launched SocialGuide, McKinsey's joint venture with Nielsen for social media intelligence on television, film, and advertising. Prior to McKinsey Dan served as Vice President of Meritor Academies and was a Co-Founder of Fairfax Collegiate in Virginia. Dan received his M. B. A. from Harvard University where he was a Baker Scholar and a B. A. in history, summa cum laude, from Yale University
