Eric is a New York-based staff writer for SportsBusiness Journal, covering baseball, digital media, and technology. Eric writes extensively on all facets of digital streaming, and has covered 13 World Series, 14 MLB All-Star Games, three World Baseball Classics, five NBA All-Star Games, nine International Consumer Electronics Shows, and a variety of other major events. He is also a regular moderator in SBJ's annual series of high-level industry conferences. With SBJ since 2005, Eric joined the magazine from The Washington Times in Washington, D. C. , where he was the newspaper's first sports business reporter, and chronicled the relocation of the Montreal Expos to the national's capital, the construction of FedEx Field and Verizon Center, and the sales of the Washington Redskins, Washington Capitals, and D. C. United. Prior to moving to Washington, Eric was the business and real estate editor of the Easton (Md. ) Star-Democrat. He is a graduate of St. Bonaventure University.
