Fabiano Caruana

Fabiano Caruana is a chess Grandmaster, four time Italian champion and the current U.S. Champion.

In 2014, he achieved the 3rd highest ranking in chess history by winning the Sinquefield Cup. In 2016, he represented the United States in the Chess Olympiad, leading the team to a gold medal. In 2018, he won the Candidates tournament and reached the final of the World Chess Championship against Magnus Carlsen.

He founded and hosts a weekly chess podcast, called the "C-Squared Podcast," with fellow Grandmaster Cristian Chirila.
