Commentator at ESPN
An ESPN commentator since September 2010, Mark – a Scotsman - is based at ESPN’s HQ in Bristol, Connecticut.
Since 1995 Mark has worked in the media industry and has covered nearly 100 major sporting events, including World Cups in soccer, rugby and cricket, he’s worked as an on-course reporter at more than 20 major golf tournaments, and has commentated and/or presented at every US Open tennis tournament since 2011 while also covering Wimbledon and the Australian Open during his career.
And, as part of an ESPN/MLB collaboration, Mark co-hosted the weekly baseball show ‘Caps Off’ for three years between 2019 and 2021 [alongside Sportscenter anchor Phil Murphy] covering three World Series’, Field of Dreams [White Sox vs Yankees] in Iowa and the London Series between New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox.
Mark played rugby as a youngster. The only thing preventing him from succeeding in the sport was a total lack of ability...
