Namita Nandakumar is currently the Senior Quantitative Analyst for the Seattle Kraken, where she uses statistical tools to inform all aspects of hockey operations decision-making. She joined the team in 2020 to help prepare for the 2021 Expansion and Entry Drafts. Namita previously spent two seasons as a Quantitative Analyst for the Philadelphia Eagles after graduating from Wharton with a B.S. in Economics and a concentration in Statistics. She has also written publicly about sports analytics research for FiveThirtyEight, The Athletic Philadelphia and Hockey Graphs.
