13-Year NHL Defenseman | NHL Analyst, ESPN
During his 13-year career in the NHL, P.K. Subban was one of the most dynamic athletes and personalities in sports. While playing for the Montreal Canadiens, Nashville Predators and New Jersey Devils, Subban secured many personal, professional and philanthropic wins. Some of his most notable achievements include playing on the NHL All-Star team three times, winning the James Norris Memorial Trophy, and taking home the gold at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics.
In addition to Subban's elite athletic abilities, he has shown a relentless passion for charitable initiatives and enriching his community. Subban was named the 2021-22 King Clancy Memorial Trophy winner for his leadership qualities on and off the ice, as well as his noteworthy humanitarian contribution in his community. His desire for supporting families who suffer from illness has not only made him a commendable role model but has also facilitated the growth of the P.K. Subban Foundation. His most recent pledge resulted in a $10 million dollar donation to the Montreal Children's Hospital, which to date is the largest donation made by any Canadian athlete.
Since retiring from the NHL, Subban serves as the host of P.K.'s Places, part of the expansion of the Places Universe on ESPN+. P.K. is also one of ESPN's lead NHL analysts, and makes regular appearances across games, intermission reports, and other studio programming.
