Co-Founder & President, RotoWire. com @PeterSchoenke Peter Schoenke is the co-founder and president of RotoWire. com, a leading content and technology provider to fantasy sports consumers and media companies including ESPN, Yahoo! Sports, Fox Sports, Sports Illustrated, NFL. com and Sirius XM Radio. RotoWire has been the leading innovator in the fantasy sports industry since the hobby moved online. In 1997, the company developed the concept of "player notes" and the industry continues to follow its format of using a "news" and "analysis" section for each update. RotoWire has now become a leader in mobile applications with multiple fantasy sports apps across all platforms including Android, iPhone, iPad and BlackBerry devices. RotoWire's Fantasy Baseball Draft Kit is currently among the top paid iPad apps. Mr. Schoenke also frequently writes for RotoWire and won the Best Fantasy Baseball Article on the Internet award in 2006 from the Fantasy Sports Writers Association. Mr. Schoenke is a former editor for Investment Dealers' Digest and a reporter for Dow Jones and contributor to the Wall Street Journal, the American Banker and the Chicago Tribune. He holds a master's degree in journalism and a B. A. in economics and political science from Northwestern University. In 2011, Mr. Schoenke was elected to the hall of fame for both the Fantasy Sports Trade Association and Fantasy Sports Writers Association for his contribution to the growth of the industry.
