ABOUT

Randy Scott is an anchor on SportsCenter for their weekday 7 a.m. edition alongside his co-host Gary Striewski. Scott joined ESPN in June 2012 as an anchor for ESPN’s flagship news and information program.

In 2025, Scott stepped into a new role as co-host of SC+, bringing his years of SportsCenter experience to a fresh, digital-first format exclusively for Disney+. A seasoned ESPN anchor, Scott has been delivering sports news and highlights to fans since 2012, known for his engaging on-air presence and sharp storytelling.

Prior to joining ESPN, Scott served as anchor/reporter for NESN in Boston (2010-12) and WINK-TV in Fort Meyers, Fla. (2006-10). Previously, he was Sports Director at WNEG-TV in Toccoa, Ga. (2005-06) and anchor/reporter at KSWO-TV in Lawton, Okla. (2004-05).

Scott earned Florida’s Associated Press and Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ, a national organization dedicated to the perpetuation of a free press) “Best Sports Feature” awards in 2008 for “Deaf Softball Star,” described by SPJ: This feature is both interesting and inspirational without being heavy-handed. Use of sign language like the pitcher and her teammates use was a good touch. He also received 2005 “Best Sports Promotion” honors from the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters.

The Vienna, Va. native is a 2004 graduate of Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism.
