Sebastien is a 4th year PhD candidate at MIT. He received his BS and MS degrees in applied mathematics and computer science from Ecole polytechnique, France. His research interests are applying state-of-the art optimization and analytics to public policy and transportation. His work, using Julia/JuMP and in partnership with Boston Public Schools, was featured in the Wall Street Journal and the Boston Globe.
