On ESPN.com, there are separate verticals for the NBA, fantasy basketball, gambling and analytics. Often, content lands on one of those verticals and not the others, when in fact they are all utilizing the same data, doing similar analysis, and the conclusions are pertinent to each. I use analytics tools ranging from scouting software such as Second Spectrum to per-minute/possession boxscore stats to impact metrics such as Real Plus Minus in order to inform and enliven my analysis for NBA, fantasy basketball and/or gambling projections.
