Former Professional Hockey Player
After 16 years of professional hockey in the National Hockey League, Andrew is graduating into the world of venture capital, environmental leadership in the sports industry and bicycle racing. . . for starters. During the last two years of his NHL career, Andrew took courses through Harvard Extension School and completed his professional certificate in Corporate Sustainability and Innovation. He has partnered with Fifth Season Ventures where they focus on funding early stage companies in the sustainable agriculture field, including Full Cycle Bioplastics, which converts organic waste into biodegradable plastic. He also sits on the board of the Green Sports Alliance, a group which leads venues, leagues and teams towards more sustainable business practices.
