Susan Groh

Associate Director, NFL's Environmental Program

About

Susan is Associate Director of the NFL's Environmental Program. In partnership with NFL Special Events, Susan works to reduce the environmental impact of Super Bowl and Pro Bowl by working with community partners to repurpose materials, coordinate donation of prepared, unserved food, recycle, and develop projects to leave a positive "green" legacy in the host community. Susan has developed urban forestry projects that provide environmental and community benefits to event host communities, working with school departments, federal, state and non-profit agencies. Her Super Kids-Super Sharing project unites school children in each Super Bowl host community to collect tens of thousands of books, pieces of sports equipment and school supplies to donate to local children in need. Susan has also worked on environmental initiatives with the State of Rhode Island, the American Solar Energy Society, Northeast Sustainable Energy Association and the National Clean Cities Coalition.
