John Ourand has covered all things media for SportsBusiness Journal since 2006. Before then, he spent 12 years reporting on the media industry in the U. S. and Europe, reporting for such titles as International Cable magazine and serving as editor for outlets including Cable World and CableFAX Daily. His journalism career started in 1990 as a reporter for a Washington Post-owned weekly newspaper based in Montgomery County, Maryland.
