Senior VP, Team Marketing & Business Operations, NBA
Matt Wolf serves as a Senior Vice President in the NBA’s Team Marketing & Business Operations (TMBO) department, a group responsible for growing NBA, WNBA, NBA G League and NBA 2K League team profitability through strategic consulting on all aspects of business operations, including marketing and digital, ticket sales, sponsorships, suite sales and customer retention. Wolf oversees the department’s Ticketing, Sponsorship, Strategy & Analytics and Department Operations teams and acts as the league’s Account Manager for the Denver Nuggets, Miami Heat, Oklahoma City Thunder and Sacramento Kings.
Prior to joining TMBO, Wolf served as a member of the NBA’s Strategic Development department, working on league-level strategic initiatives including collective bargaining, media rights negotiations and international expansion planning. Before joining the NBA, he spent three years in Disney’s Corporate Strategy, Business Development & Technology group. Wolf holds an M.B.A. from Stanford and a B.S. and Engineering degree in Operations Research & Financial Engineering from Princeton, where he was a member of the varsity Sprint (Lightweight) Football team. He is a native of Long Island, New York and currently resides in Long Island City with his wife, Erica.
